I was 7 years old in 1979 when I found my older brothers albums in his room. I used to sneak into his room when he wasn’t home and listen to all of the records he owned. One day I came across Queen’s ‘News of the world’ album. The cover and the inside scared me a bit, but I was intrigued, so I played the album. Ever since that day in 1979, I have been a huge Queen fan and I owe it all to my brother. Several years ago, my brother brought me that very album that I would play over and over and over again as a little girl. The original 1977 album sits on a shelf in my dining room. Since then, I have loved every album and every song by Queen. I’m thankful that I was an extremely nosey sister who couldn’t leave her brother’s things alone and that my brother had great taste in music. 👑
