Max and the Splendid, Perfect, Marvelous Great Day When I woke up this morning, I felt a lump under my sheets behind my back. When I went to go get rid of it, I pulled out a toy I've been looking for. When I ran down to tell my parents, I saw that they had made me my favorite food, a cheeseburger! After I had finished, I grabbed my backpack, but as I ran to the door, my mom's voice stopped me. “What are you doing? It's Sunday, there’s no school.” At that moment, I realized it was going to be a splendid, perfect, marvelous, great day. For lunch, when we got to Johnny Rockets, my mom got me a milkshake! I love the Johnny Rocket milkshakes. They always make them right. My sister got fries and she shared them with me. How nice. After Johnny Rockets, they brought us to a candy store. As we finished buying, I saw a kid who had dropped his candy outside. I instantly felt compassion for him. I gave him one of my favorite candies and he lit up. His father thanked me and they left forgetting about the strewn candy. This made it feel like a splendid, perfect, marvelous great day. After that, we got dessert at cream. I always get the churro milkshakes, as i think churro is the best flavor, and it comes with a churro. They gave it to me along with an extra cookie. My parents thanked them, and we left as they said, “Have a nice day!” This was definitely a splendid, perfect, marvelous great day. My mom then let me go to Toys-R-Us. I got a drone. I’ve always wanted one, now’s the chance. After we bought it, we flew it through foster city with the camera. It look so nice from the air. We went home, but before we got there, we saw our aunt and my cousin. We picked her up and drove her to our house. We had dinner together, and after that me and my cousin were playing with the drone. We flew it over our neighbor's house, and it turns out he's a drone enthusiast. I learned a lot from him, now my dorne’s in tip top shape. Since I was 6, video games became my daily ritual. As I was playing my game, I had finally beaten the game. I had been working on this game for about 2 years, so this was a big accomplishment. As I heard the victory music, my dad opened my door and offered me more ice cream. Of course, I took up the offer. We ended up going at the exact right time because, at that time, kids ate free! I was overjoyed by this fact. It felt like I was going to have a splendid, perfect, marvelous, great day. As my mom and I were watching tv, she brought a big box to the couch. I asked what that was for, and she was shocked. “You don't remember your birthday?” I was surprised too. I usually never forget my birthday, but this year it slipped my mind. When I opened it, it had contained a bike. Something I had always wanted. I thanked my parents profusely. It was a splendid, perfect, marvelous, great day.
