Welcome to the Department of Computer Science of Alexandrio TEI of Thessaloniki The Department of Computer Science of Alexandrio Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, was founded in 1987 and organizes undergraduate and postgraduate studies, contributing to the research and education of a high level of executive staff capable of contributing to the development of the new digital economy. With the completion of their undergraduate studies, our graduates acquire the necessary scientific and technological knowledge to be professionally involved in the IT industry. Moreover, the graduates of the "Intelligent Internet Technologies" graduate program organized by our Department acquire a strong scientific background, experience and know-how in the development of Intelligent Internet Applications. Our Department receives about 150 first year students in the undergraduate and 30 students in the postgraduate program. It continually updates its curriculum and updates equipment, services and the training environment. The fruitful relationship between students and teachers, the connection of teaching with research, the students' contact with the IT and Telecommunications market, and the vibrancy of the student community characterize the physiognomy of the Department of Computer Science of the Alexandrio TEI of Thessaloniki.
