My IIDX dot US site serves a different purpose compared to Zenius. It has .us to focus on the United States instead of worldwide. It focuses mainly on dj games and though I may build a separate site for mamba-a-go-go, there are very few locations in the US the last time I checked, and they're so so. THe new format I have is meant to load quickly and smoothly. Zenius has a nice interactive map, but older computers like my Compy 386 are not so fast at rendering it. It would be troublesome on a 286. Machine listings also need many clicks to move between sections: summary, games, photos, visitors and more. Meanwhile, I am testing new layouts on my site. Zenius and COWS have a nice forum feature, but I don't see that need yet on TOO DEE ECKS DOT YOU ESS, so I use comment sections and have a few social networks. I don't get a lot of news, so I don't post a lot on my site. If I ever posted simfiles, they would be unique. I have hundreds of visitors monthly and I am happy with that. I think it's important to have several good TOO DEE ECKS fan sites, not just a handful. Besides, if the person is more of a newbie, he or she may not know what "Zenius-i-Vanisher" means, but would clearly understand what TOO DEE ECKS DOT YOU ESS is about.
